Not saying you're definitely screwed or anything on a G1 or G2, but they are legacy devices so expect any needed fixes to take a bit longer to come out. I'd be pretty confident in saying f you're G3 or higher with the latest relevant SoftPaqs for your system, you shouldn't have any issues. Honestly the business side of HP is pretty good about making sure things stay compatible and running smoothly.
